Return Policy Overview

Our Return Policy applies to desktop computer systems purchased directly from and is intended for the original purchaser with shipment to a domestic U.S. address.

For products purchased from third-party retailers, please consult with the retailer for their specific return policies. However, our return for repair policy still applies.

Money-Back Satisfaction Guarantee
We at Blackout Computers take pride in the satisfaction of our customers and stand behind the quality of our products. Therefore, we extend the offer to return products with certain conditions as follows:

Money-Back Guarantee Conditions and Exclusions
The money-back guarantee is exclusive to purchases made directly from us and does not extend to third-party retail purchases. Credits are only issued to the original form of payment, and any non-returned products will be deducted from the credited amount. Shipping, handling, rush service fees, opened software, additional parts, and custom orders are not refundable. Physical damage or unauthorized modifications by the customer will void the possibility of a full refund. The total refund amount will never exceed the original purchase price of the system.

Software returns are strictly limited to:

Software installed by Blackout Computers on a returnable system within the return period.

Sealed media-based software, or electronically delivered software that hasn't been accepted with agreement to terms and conditions.

For customers in Colorado, the Colorado Retail Delivery Fee is nonrefundable, per the Colorado Department of Revenue.

Restocking Fees
No restocking fees are applied within the initial 30 days post-purchase. Returns after this period incur a 15% restocking fee, with the return period not extending beyond 45 days from delivery.

Warranty Service and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Procedures
Returns require an RMA number, which is obtained after warranty verification and approval by Blackout Computers. Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the sender unless specified otherwise. For warranty services, we cover shipping back to the customer within the U.S. RMAs have specific types based on the situation and include Refund RMA, Repair RMA, and Parts Exchange RMA options. The RMA number should be clear on the package to prevent delays, and all returns should follow our packing instructions to avoid damage in transit.
