Blackout Computers offers the following warranty:

1-Year Standard Limited Warranty: 1 year of labor and parts. This is our confidence in the quality and reliability of our systems, ensuring that your computing needs are met with enduring service support. Repair outside of the warranty period will result in the cost incurred on the buyer.

A return shipping label will be provided for each RMA case within warranty period, ensuring a hassle-free process. Please note, shipping costs incurred without using our provided label will not be reimbursed.

Standard Limited Warranty Terms

Blackout Computers warrants this product and its parts to the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship for the period specified in the applicable warranty included with the purchase from the original date of invoice. During this period, Blackout Computers will repair or replace defective parts with new or reconditioned parts, at Blackout Computers' option, without charge for parts (additional charges may apply). All original parts replaced by Blackout Computers or its authorized service centers become the property of Blackout Computers. All components repaired or replaced by Blackout Computers will be covered under warranty for the remaining period of warranty or for no less than 90 days after the repair invoice date. You are responsible for the payment, at current rates, for any service or repair outside the scope of this limited warranty.

Blackout Computers makes no other warranty, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description, with respect to this computer other than as set forth below. Blackout Computers makes no warranty or representation, either expressed or implied, with respect to any other manufacturer’s product or documentation, its quality, performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or conformity to any representation or description.

Except as provided below, Blackout Computers is not liable for any loss, cost, loss of work, loss of data, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the computer. Under no circumstances shall Blackout Computers be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the computer.

In the normal course of repairs, it is sometimes necessary to reformat or replace drives that may contain personal data. Reformatting drives will essentially remove all data and program files from the drive. Should a drive be inaccessible or has failed, the data and files cannot be retrieved, and the drive will be replaced. If a drive has corrupted files, it may be necessary to repartition and/or reformat the drive. Blackout Computers will attempt to contact you prior to performing this task in case you prefer to have the drive returned in order to send the drive to a data recovery service. At the time the RMA number is issued, Blackout Computers will ask for your authorization in advance to repartition/reformat the drive and record that response in the RMA record to avoid further contact delays. Blackout Computers will not be responsible for data loss under any circumstances.

The warranty and remedies set forth below are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.

Money-Back Satisfaction Guarantee

Blackout Computers offers a reassuring 30-day money-back guarantee for clients who purchase directly from the Blackout Computers website.

Here are the terms of the guarantee:

The 30-day period begins from the date listed on the packing slip or invoice. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase within this timeframe, you can return the product for a refund.

The guarantee applies solely to purchases made on the Blackout Computers website and is not applicable to systems bought from retailers or third-party sellers.

Refunds or credits are only available to the original purchaser and will be issued to the original form of payment, excluding any shipping, handling, and rush service fees.

Opened software, extra parts or peripherals, special order merchandise, or custom-made products are excluded from this guarantee. Customizations like engravings or skins by Blackout Computers may incur a restocking fee upon return or may not be accepted at all.

Custom modifications by the customer are not eligible for return under this guarantee.
There are no restocking fees if the item is returned within the initial 30-day period. Returns processed after this period for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Management approval is required for refund requests submitted beyond the initial 30 days and will not be considered after 45 days from the delivery date.

This policy ensures that customers have the confidence to purchase with Blackout Computers, knowing they have a full month to assess their new system's performance and satisfaction.

Shipping Damage, Loss, and Claims

Once the carrier confirms proper delivery to the given address, with or without a signature, Blackout Computers will not be held responsible for non-delivery. For any cases of non-delivery, customers should report to the local authorities to file a theft report and also Contact Blackout Computers Support to start a loss claim with the carrier, who will then conduct an investigation. Nevertheless, carriers often do not take responsibility if they confirm that the item was delivered as instructed.

If you find visible damage to the shipping box upon receiving your product, Blackout Computers advises the following:

1. If damage seems extensive enough to potentially affect the product inside, refuse the delivery. The product will then be returned to Blackout Computers unopened.
Contact Blackout Computers Support immediately to report the damage.

2. Once the product is received back, Blackout Computers will inspect it. If the product is undamaged, it will be repackaged and sent out again. If it is damaged, we will facilitate repair or replacement and then ship it back to you. Damage claims will be filed as needed by Blackout Computers.

3. In the event that the product arrives without visible damage to the outer box but with physical damage to the product itself, please:

4. Stop unpacking as soon as damage is discovered.
Take detailed photos of the product, packaging, and shipping box, showing any damage, holes, dents, or shipping labels clearly.

5. Keep the product within the original shipping box and packaging material for potential return and inspection.

6. Contact Blackout Computers Support promptly to report the incident.

Blackout Computers will initiate the damage claim process.

For any returns received by Blackout Computers that exhibit physical damage, an assessment will be made:

Was the product packaged sufficiently by the customer using the original or substantial packaging to protect the product?
Does the damage seem to have occurred during shipping by the carrier?
Who initiated and paid for the return shipping — was it the customer or was it shipped using a Blackout Computers-provided label?
Responsibility for damages and associated costs will be determined based on these factors.

Customers have options following damage assessment:

Wait for the shipping claim to resolve before proceeding with repair, replacement, or refund actions.
Choose to pay for repairs and proceed without waiting for the claim settlement.
If the customer is unresponsive or refuses to cover costs within two weeks of assessment, the product will be returned as is and the RMA process closed.
If carrier mishandling is evident, Blackout Computers will file a claim and hold the product until the claim is resolved. Following resolution, Blackout Computers will determine the next steps.

For lost shipments, Blackout Computers will investigate and initiate loss claims. The outcome of the investigation and claim will dictate whether a refund or replacement is issued, or if the loss is assumed by Blackout Computers or the customer.

Any appeal to the carrier for a lost or damaged shipment will require new evidence for submission.
